Food Cupboard Community Garden

The Holly Springs Garden Club volunteers are responsible for planning, planting, and caring for the Holly Springs Food Cupboard vegetable garden. If you have surplus produce from your own home garden, you may donate it to the Holly Springs Food Cupboard at 621 W. Holly Springs Road. See Food Cupboard Video • See Article  Want to volunteer? Bass Lake Park

Bass Lake Park is home to many species of native plants which can be viewed along beautiful nature trails. Trails are open year round to foot traffic. The conference center at the park, where the Garden Club gathers for monthly meetings, overlooks the water of Bass Lake and houses a North Carolina Environmental Education Center which  offers native animal exhibits, a reference library, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Garden Club volunteers assist in upkeep of the garden and trails at the park.

Plant Swap

Garden Club members assist in a perennial plant and seed swap at the Holly Springs Cultural Center where participants bring plants or seeds from their yards that they would like to swap. This offers local gardeners an economical way to add plants to their gardens and provides a venue for finding answers to plant or gardening related questions.
